The Rulebook is a service provided by the Central Bank of the UAE to the public, offering access to the regulations, standards and guidelines it has issued. The platform aims to display regulatory content in an intuitive and efficient manner, and serve as an aid to the industry in achieving regulatory compliance.
The CBUAE Rulebook aims to accurately reflect the regulatory framework currently in place. However, the CBUAE Rulebook has no legal effect and the CBUAE does not assume any liability for its contents, and the regulations, standards and guidelines as issued through the formal channels such as the UAE Official Gazette shall prevail and be binding in case of any inaccuracy in the Rulebook. Where such an inaccuracy is suspected, financial institutions are encouraged to address this through their supervisor.
