Article (1)
Effective from 12/5/2013In the application of the provisions of this Resolution, The following words and expressions shall have the meanings ascribed thereto hereunder, unless the context otherwise requires:
| The State/UAE | United Arab Emirates |
| IA/ Authority | The Insurance Authority established under the provisions of the Federal Law No. 6 of 2007 on the Establishment of the Insurance Authority and the Regulation of Insurance Business, and the amendments thereof |
| Company | A third party health insurance administrator licensed by the IA to practice the administration of health insurance claims |
| The Register | The register of Third Party Health Insurance Administrators at the IA. |
